Industrial Assembly / Installer Technician at
Location:Broussard, LA
Worknet is hiring an experienced technician for an Industrial Assembly / Installer position in Broussard LA. The main duties of this position is to assemble custom packages involving filters, pumps, and control panels then delivery and install them at the end-users site. This position is a combination of shop and field time meaning no two weeks will be the same.
The ideal candidate will have experience preforming assembly work on industrial applications. This would include plumbing piping systems and preforming electrical terminations. Additional responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting of completed packages to ensure 100% functionality.
Some of the requirements for this position include but not limited too:
- Technicians must possess their own hand tools. All specialty tools are provided by the company.
- Must possess a valid LA. drivers license and insurable driving record.
- Ideal applicant will have 5 plus years of experience in a related position.
- Must have the flexibility to adjust to changing weekly demands for shop vs Field time. Weeks are planned in advance. The only last minute are emergency situations and those few and far apart.
- Must maintain a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous demeaner when representing the company.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Must be able to pass pre employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
