Application Specialist at Worknet Staffing
Our client located in Kenner, Louisiana, is looking for an Application Specialist that will provide support to both external and internal customers, partners and prospective customers by taking ownership and resolving the customers requests. Primary duties are to log and triage issues that are a technical nature, secondary duty to field support calls. Other essential duties include: Providing technical support in the use of the SMART application. This is to include Plus, Drilling,SEMS, Files, etc… by providing workarounds, advice and or recommendations in a quick and timely manner. As needed, obtain initial call information and create Support Request record number utilizing Issue Trak and Traker. As needed, utilize all points of contact to answer, triage and resolve incoming calls from external clients. Attend training classes in order to continuously expand knowledge of SMART modules. Understand completely all policies, procedures and processes both internally and those of external customers. Test new code before being released to customers, etc.
2 years experience in a similiar position. College Degree Preferred.
Ability to learn effectively and retain information.
Windows 95/98/NT/XP/2003/2007/2010 Microsoft Business Products, Internet Usage, Microsoft/Outlook/Exchange (email)
Ability to understand and folllow written and oral instructions. Maintain confidentiality of information. Communicate effectiverly with difficult customers.
